Workshop Facilitation
In addition to my design work, I am an experienced design thinking workshop facilitator, having lead many sessions on persona creation, journey mapping/service blueprinting, and design refinement.
The goal for every session I facilitate is to not be the driver of the discussion, only intervening as needed to keep the session on track and encouraging the input and participation of the session attendees. As the facilitator, I am not the subject matter expert nor decision maker but the guide as session participants work together towards their common goal and as a translator helping turn their thoughts and ideas into deliverable artifacts.
And while the artifacts produced from working sessions tend to be pointed to as their outcome, the sessions' participants coming away with better mutual understanding and clearer collective vision is the most product of any workshop I run.
